Persistent Pain of Lipohyperplasia Dolorosa Despite Bariatric Therapy for Coincident Obesity

Abstract:

Lipohyperplasia Dolorosa (LiDo) cannot be treated by bariatric surgery. The pain of LiDo is also not reduced by a strong reduction of adiposity adeps. The aim of this work is to raise awareness of Lipohyperplasia Dolorosa (LiDo) with coincident obesity in order to obtain better treatment outcomes for women with LiDo coincident obesity. Bariatric surgery does not affect the pain symptom obligatory for LiDo.
